Pay attention to the suitability of choosing ppe

The relevant department of Jiangsu Province announced on February 25 that the province will carry out trials of paid use of chemical oxygen demand (COD) emission targets in the Taihu Lake Basin, and pilot trials of the use of sulfur dioxide emission targets in the power industry. The trial management measures will be formally implemented from now on, and the “discharge index fee” will be included in the budgets of various levels as a special fund for environmental protection management.
It is understood that the trial scope of COD "Sewage Indicator Expenses" covers all the administrative areas of Suzhou City, Wuxi City, Changzhou City, and Danyang City; and the rivers that affect the water quality of Taihu Lake in the jurisdictional areas of Jurong City, Gaochun County, and Qinshui County. The production and operation enterprises that directly discharge major water pollutants and occupy emission targets in areas where water bodies such as lakes, reservoirs, and channels are located. The pilot industries include textile dyeing and finishing, chemical industry, paper making, iron and steel, electroplating, food manufacturing (monosodium glutamate and beer), and wastewater treatment. Among them, the COD "sewage indicator fee" of the sewage treatment unit is priced at 2,600 yuan per ton per year, and the remaining six major industries are 4,500 yuan per ton per year.
The scope of the introduction of sulfur dioxide "sewage indicator fee" is the province's power industry. Different from COD “sewage indicator fee” charging fees according to all the indicators, some indicators were implemented for the exceeding of the power industry and new sulfur dioxide emission indicators.
