For air compressors used in water projects, for example, their use requirements and standards are also stipulated as follows.
1. Pressure vessels such as gas storage tanks shall be tested for strength and tightness according to the pressure specified in the equipment's technical documentation; all valve parts shall be clean and free of corrosion, and pressure relief valves, safety valves, etc. shall be tested accurately and reliably.
2. The distance between the air compressor and the gas storage tank should not exceed 10 meters. The air inlet and outlet pipes of the gas storage tank should be laid at a certain distance. The pipeline and the air compressor should be flanged, but they must not be welded. The material properties and specifications of the pipeline should meet the design requirements and should be verified by strength inspection.
3. The compressed air piping system shall be checked for leaks at a pressure of 1.25 times the rated pressure. The pressure drop within 8H shall not exceed 10%.
4. The horizontality of the horizontal equipment and the verticality of the vertical equipment shall comply with the provisions of the equipment technical documents. When not specified, they shall not exceed 1/1000.
5. The fixed air compressor should be installed firmly, the horizontal and vertical error of the compressor should not exceed 0.2/1000, and the horizontal measurement should be performed in the following locations:
(1) Horizontal compressors (including symmetrical balance) on fuselage slide surfaces or other reference surfaces;
(2) The vertical compressor removes the cylinder head on the top surface of the cylinder;
(3) other types of compressors, on the exposed part of the spindle or other reference plane.
6. The installation of the compressor should have a complete installation record and carry out a trial run of the mechanical part as required. After the test run is qualified, the compressor oil should be replaced.
