Tank World Developer Announces Collaboration with VRTech
Tank world developer Wargaming.net announced that it will cooperate with VRTech, a virtual reality (VR) company in Moscow, to bring this world-renowned location-based immersive war experience to the European market.
VRTech is known for location-based VR solutions, including CinemaVR and PolygonVR. This cooperation is a typical case of VRTech's combination of war game expertise and game design and visual effects solutions.
Aleksandr Zezulin, director of R&D operations at Wargaming, said in a statement: “Upgrading location-based VR to a new level is an opportunity we must apply. Through this partnership, we plan to take the public’s view of virtual reality from once The ***ual experience has turned into an interest to experience and become a source of entertainment. Wargaming's new business is scalable and will help us produce high-quality entertainment content."

In December 2016, VRTech placed its VR booth in more than 20 locations such as movie theaters and shopping malls in Russia’s largest city. Its first European CinemaVR show and Polygonvr technology will be held this month at Gamescom 2017.
Wargaming.net has supported VR and Augmented Reality (AR) in various forms in the past few years. Promotions include working with the Tank Museum at Bovington and creating content for other museums around the world, such as the Royal Naval National Museum, the Royal Air Force Museum, and the Pacific Battleship Center.
At the Tankfest 2017 Convention and Exhibition held at the Bowenton Tank Museum, Wargaming's Special Projects Department used augmented reality technology to introduce the German Assault Tiger Vehicle into the museum, demonstrating its internal structure and the entire process of ammunition-filled shell launches.
